Administration and Marketing Assistant 

We are now recruiting for an Administration and Marketing Assistant to join our team at our Radcliffe Head Office. 
This vacancy will have the following responsibilities:

Assisting and amending both existing and new products on to our website

Keeping an up to date record of our stock system and our website sale system

Excellent communication skills required to process telephone orders and payments

Liaise with customers and logistics to book in customer orders

Liaising with the warehouse team to prepare orders for delivery in the warehouse

Strong IT skills with familiarity using Microsoft packages. An understanding of Adobe packages such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator would also be very advantageous.

An understanding of marketing and promoting our business using social media.

A creative flair and an eye for detail would also be required for this role to capture images on a regular basis for social media purposes.

Researching trends from the gardening, home and lifestyle world to therefore create and design blogs and email campaigns.

5 days a week including 1 weekend day

Trainee Visual Merchandiser

At Newbank we have two amazing opportunities ideal for somebody who is looking to begin their visual merchandising career.

Duties will include:

  • Assisting senior visual merchandisers complete homeware displays
  • Help customers with enquiries
  • Replenish stock in our homeware department
  • Assisting on regular turnarounds to keep our homeware department looking  fresh and revitalised

 

You will ideally:

  • be a creative person with an eye for detail.
  • have an interest in homeware
  • have a positive customer attitude
  • have strong practical and creative skills
  • have a willingness to learn

The first successful candidate will be based at our Bury branch

The second successful candidate will be required to move between our Royton, Dobcross and Halifax branches therefore this position would require you to have a driving license.
